Display on Charge 3 stopped working

I have just had to return my Charge 3 after only buying it on 3/11/18. 

Display stopped working for no apparent reason. Store Tech said he had never seen it happen before. So replaced it. So not impressed.

I was so happy to get instructions to light up my Charge 3 face and it worked..

I am so reliant on my fit bit and have had a few since 2014...they have all worked well for me..

Mine just did it again last night and took a few attempts to get it back up. Frustrating as this is the 3rd time it’s happened now. I hope Fitbit can get this fixed for good.

My display stopped working yesterday. Tech on the phone just said ti reset it (hold it down for 8 to 15 seconds) which did not work. It vibrates and keeps track of everything. Husband found this thread today and I did the recommended changing of the watch face in the app and it now works again definitely a glitch somewhere.

I got mine working again after doing the reset button a few times then later changed the watch face so will see how long this lasts.

Was your watch on the charger when you held the button for 8 to 15 seconds?

Nope its fully dead, and the device got really hot too, and fitbit in twitter is really cooperative sent them a meassage for about 10 hours now not even a hello there 👌🏽

When I first got it I installed the Fitbit app on my ipad as well but because it was interfering with app on my phone I deleted it as sometimes they were too close so wouldn’t refresh or work on my iphone.

My Charge 3 also went  black after a month. Went on the forum and saw a few people had tried changing the clock face and it worked again. Tried it and it also worked. Weird!

I followed the instructions and the display is working again. It was not working at all so telling me that I would know it was connected correctly by something like a battery icon was not helpful. It did vibrate and is working. Thank you.

Go to your phone and change the clock face. Your Fitbit should start back up. If you want your old clock face back just go in and change it again. Worked for me and apparently many other Fitbit users with the same issue.

My display stopped working this morning on my charger 3 and I have only had less than a month it was a Christmas present.However changing the clock display worked for me. Seems to be fine now. Thanks for the suggestion AldaSilva
