I see that many people have had the same issue I have had with my Charge 2 wristband popping off. Do the Charge 3 bands fit a Charge 2 Fitbit?

No, they do not fit.

Hey @kpwms, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! As my friend @JohnnyRow mentioned, no, the bands of the Charge 3 won't fit with the Charge 2.

How do I find a place to shop for a new wrist band for my Charge2 ?

I think there are a few available at the Ftibit store here, but perhaps limited styles and sizes.
But Amazon has a wide selection of third-party styles available at very reasonable prices. Of course they are not warranteed by Fitbit, but many have been very happy with purchases there.
I guess eBay also has them but I myself am just more familiar with Amazon.

@PriLady Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! As @JohnnyRow explained you can find the official accessories at the Fitbit store. You may also want to check the warranty and as explained third party items aren't covered by it.
Let me know how it goes!

I have gotten several bands for my Charge2 from Groupon! Great value...but I guess I can never upgrade to a newer Fitbit, since I have all of these bands!!!

Hey @Gamma25, thanks for your participation in the Community! Sounds good that you are getting third party apps, I can see that there are several and different colors. Just keep in mind that those aren't covered under Fitbit warranty.
Let me know if you have further questions or comments!

If your fitbit is less than a year old, contact Fitbit to replace the band. I went through five and almost lost my Fitbit several times. I have since bought one of these: “Blackweb” Replacement Band With Magnetic Clasp Fitbit Charge 2. So much more comfortable and secure, not afraid of the band popping off constantly.. (I bought the replacement band at Walmart.)

Hey @Jen_5, I hope you are doin' fine! I appreciate that tip. Sounds great that you have acquired a new Charge 2 wristband. Third party bands are good alternatives to replace originals wristbands from Fitbit, just keep in mind that these are not covered under warranty.
Have a nice day!

Thanks for the tip, but my warranty just expired and my sixth band in a year broke/popped off, had to buy a new band and I wasn’t feeling confident about spending the money on something that might break soon. Just thinking outside the box, and is working out great so far. Love Fitbit, but the band issue has been challenging. 🌻Have a great holiday season! 🌲

Thanks for your reply @Jen_5! Oh! Yes, I totally understand you and I'm sorry to hear that your warranty just expired, I wish I could give you a more positive response, but if you already contacted our Support team for further help and not other alternatives were given to you, there is no much I can offer you. Anyways, if you have any other question or comment, feel free to keep me posted.
Happy Holidays!

There are tons of attractive bands that fit the Charge 2 on Amazon by 3rd party vendors. I'm really miffed that I'm told these straps don't fit the Charge 3. My Charge 2 just gave up the ghost, Best Buy says they don't even stock them now. But I've got 10 different straps now that don't fit the Charge 3. I really hate companies that do this for no reason. It just adds to pollution, and makes people like me very reluctant to upgrade. I'm going for the Motiv ring now.

I hate when companies do this. They could have made the Charge 3 with band compatibility to the Charge 2, but I guess in an effort to sell a couple extra bands they changed it. I love my C2 and have several fashion bands for it, but I can't swim in it. I would have bought a C3 if I could use my C2 bands, but instead I'm going to change to a different company all together. Wish Fitbit would take the customer into consideration when designing new products.

I landed here with the same question. That said, I was trying to find a genuine replacement for my Charge 2 band. As many have mentioned, there are several options made by manufacturers other than Fitbit. However, in trying one myself, I learned that the knock offs are not the same (or at least the one I bought wasn’t). When I got my knock off bands, I began to notice over time that the bands were leaving an odor on my wrist. For anyone who has ever worn a cast, it is the same odor. This is caused by bacteria. I began occasionally washing my band with rubbing alcohol but that did nothing. I never had this problem with a genuine Fitbit band, so I can only concluded that the genuine Fitbit bands are made of an antibacterial product. Note also that I remove my Fitbit daily when I wash; otherwise I wear it day and night. I have now developed rashes on two places on my wrist so will not be using anything other than genuine Fitbit bands going forward, but finding a replacement Charge 2 band right now is proving to be a challenge. Anyway, my bottom line is that you should consider paying the extra money for the genuine product.
