Hello @Younes007 on the forums, I've read where people with dark tats have had problems with it, so I would think hairy arms would also be a factor. A few of them used some sort of tape over the sensor and it seemed to help. You may need to experiment. I guess shaving under the sensor could be another possibility. Let us know what works for you.

My Versa 2's heart rate monitor always seemed to underreport my heart rate when compared to blood pressure monitors and EKGs. I figured it was my hairy wrist. Turning the sensor to the inside of my wrist (where there's less hair) got accurate readings.

I can say that hair affects the accuracy of devices that measure various data about our bodies. When I started running, I bought a heart rate monitor to know exactly how much stress my body was under. I didn't understand why the readings were normal even though my heart rate was off the charts when using it. Later I realized it was because of the hair on my arm. My friend advised me to use laser hair removal services from beaulaser.co.uk. The procedure yielded positive results right away. I advise you to try this method.

Yes, I also noticed that the hair cover affects the various gauges differently. Without hair, it is generally convenient to read other parameters by sensors, but with hair, at least on the head, it is somehow more comfortable to live. A friend of mine recently lost his hair and now talks positively about all the conveniences of it, from washing my head to taking electroencephalography readings. But somehow, I'm in no hurry to follow him. I was advised https://www.hairtransplantinstitute.ca/ for hair transplants, as I may soon become like my friend.
