Hi,
My parents are thinking of getting me a Charge 3 or Versa for my birthday. I mainly swim for a mile and was wondering if you can see the lap counter on the watch or if it is just by time. Can't seem to find any good YouTube videos that demonstrate this. I currently use a Fitbit Blaze for other activities and a Garmin swim for my swims and would like the ability to have it all in one place. Thank you!

I have this device for the second week. The pool length is set correctly, however there is no lap counter, only the distance an time. The Fitbit itself will only display time. The rest you should dig for in the phone app. Very inconvenient. Auto detect is nice. If you start count manually it only creates duplicate log record without length count! What a design!?

Yeah - I just bought a Charge 3 thinking it would display my swim laps - big disappointment. Message to Fitbit - us swimmers need to see the lap count on our wrist - not on a phone app. Think I'll have to go back to using my old SwimMate. Anybody want to buy a Charge 3???
