Does Charge 3 still notify phone when it needs charging?

My wife has a Fitbit Charge 3.  She tells me that she used to get notifications on the phone when the Fitbit needed charging and that she isn't getting them anymore.  Is this true, or is there something we need to do to get that back?  Also, if the phone is in "do not disturb" mode, is a silent notification sent or is nothing sent?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 3. Thank you for the information provided.

 

You should still be able to receive Low Battery level notifications. Please make sure the check mark is enabled in your Fitbit account. For instructions, please visit this article. Please be aware that you will receive the notification message/email when your Fitbit device's battery is lower than 20% of charge and it has synced recently.

 

If you have an Android device, you should be able to receive notifications even if it's in DND mode. For more information, please visit this post.
