Edges and middle of the Charge 3 display too dim and pixel issues

Hello support!

Since the beginning of December I have an issue with my Charge 3 where the edges of the screen are very dark, especially the right one. Additionally, the center of the screen is almost not readable anymore. I attached two pictures that I took in complete darkness and as you can see it's still very hard to read that. In a lit room it's basically impossible to read anything anymore.

Furthermore, it seems like some pixels in e.g. the time area are dead (stay black) depending on the current time displayed.

I went through some other threads in the forum regarding display issues and I followed the advice of a hard reboot of the device without any luck in improving the issue.

Please let me know what other steps I can take in order to improve the experience.

Thank you for your help.

Best,

Patrickfb1.jfiffb2.jfif

Hey Alvaro.

Thank you for setting this up. However, 9 days have passed and there was still no contact established via email from support.

Could you please let me know whether the ticket was somehow forgotten?

Thank you very much.

Best,

Patrick

@emberkin thank you for your reply.

Sorry to hear that you haven't received a reply from our team. Due to recent events affecting our operations, Support may need more than 7 business days to respond. Still I have reached out to them to see if they can check your case.

Keep me posted.

I have the same problem.   Has this ever been fixed?

No, unfortunately it didn't get solved. The display eventually went completely black after a couple more days. Support came back to me and since warranty was over for around a month I believe they offered me a discount for another Fitbit. However, even with that discount it was still more expensive than if I just bought it at Amazon.

So I jumped ship and never came back even though I bought 4 Fitbit devices and was really happy with them in general. That's just not great customer service.
