Electric shock when charging Charge 3

My Charge 3 started buzzing continuously yesterday (as if I'd done 10,000) and wouldn't stop.  This depleted the battery completely and the screen went off and wouldn't respond.  When I plugged it in to charge, when I touched the metal part of it, it gave me an electrical shock and was so hot I unplugged it and had to put it in the fridge!  Anyone else had this?
