My Fitbit is showing a bar that looks like it’s loading. I have charged it for a few hours and tried resetting it many times while on the charger it showed the battery full I went to the app and it says battery empty and won’t sync. I tried resetting it a few more times still nothing. What do I do?

Try to forget your device if yours looks like this, forget your device should get you to complete the update.

Hello @ula.rb

There could be a few things going on here, a bad charger, a bad cord or a bad connection. Check all of those items.

Also, plug the USB into a computer and charge it from there. Give it a couple hours to charge.

Let us know the outcome.

The first picture is what my Fitbit charge hr looks like. I have forgot the my Fitbit but it won’t find it and now what it’s doing is once in a while it will show a full battery charge and the half loading screen. When the full battery shows it won’t connect on the app it says full battery it never syncs and when I reset it it goes back to the half loading screen

I tried that it’s still doing the same thing. I did finally get it to connect back to the app on my cell phone but it went relight back to doing what it was before with the no syncing and the half loading bar.

Hello everyone!

Glad to read that our support team helped you out @Mamarabs!

@ula.rb It could also be that because the battery is empty, it is taking a while to charge again. After leaving it there it should start working.

@_Krystal_ Please do follow the steps provided by @ACG and keep us posted on how it goes.

@ACG Thanks for being around to help our users!

Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Great you see it resetting itself.

Maybe go back to step one, keep it plugged in so it stays charging.

It went back to the half loading bar. I have had to reset it maybe 30 times just to connect it back to my phone then it went back to the loading screen.

Mine looked a bit different in Nov 2017. Have a look at message 2 and the steps I did to make it work again.

It still isn’t showing up in my Bluetooth or connecting to anything

Does it say anywhere "add a new device", click it if it does.

Also, turn your Bluetooth off and on or turn your phone off and on.

Ok, maybe try a factory reset and then set up a new device.

I did try to factory reset it but because it’s stuck on the half loading screen it won’t reset it. I keep trying to reset it by holding it for the 10 seconds it turns off the back to the loading screen. If I can’t get it to the battery screen I can try to factory reeet it but no luck so far. I’m almost ready to throw it out
