Enable Blood Oxygen Estimation on Charge 3?

I purchased a new Charge 3 and received it yesterday after hearing that Fitbit has activated a new feature that enables it to estimate blood oxygen levels during sleep. I made the switch from another Fitbit watch that I'd been wearing for a couple of weeks. How do I enable Sp02/blood oxygen monitoring/estimation on Charge 3?

When you look at the graph and see the spikes in orange thats where your breathing is off . If mine stay in in green I know I'm fine. The orange shows I'm restless and gasping for air. For me it happens in the beginning of my sleep cause I'm in a lot of pain so I'm very restless and if I don't have my head raised enough I snore more & thats when my breathing stops and starts.

On 5he back of your charge 3 where it sits against your wrist are the sensors. 2 red and 1 green. If you take it off your wrist you'll see them.

Hi, I saw a post asking about red lights? But it wasn’t me who posted it. I know were they are.  😊.

I just purchase mine Charge 3 for the same exact reason, but the sp02 monitor, although it can be found on the screen, does not give any results.

It shows up in my sleep stats but has nothing in the graph or any data?! Why does it have that for That’s why I upgraded to the 3 myself

Fitbit started rolling out the EOV late 2019. I started seeing mine mid December 2019. An update recently came out mid April 2020 for me. That's when my EOV stopped working (blank graph) after the update.

It could be coincidence, but 4.18.2020 I cleaned my sensor and did a reboot of my device. It is now working. Hope that helps.

Was working great but now just shows a blank screen after trying the premium free trial. Really bites cuz it was the most valuable function on this watch. What a disappointment. Advice to others, don't do the premium trial mistake like I did.

Have you tried to reboot your charge 3? I had to do it then it worked fine. Nno troubles since then. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for your suggestion. How long does it take for it to work? I clean the sensor and rebooted the device but the chart is so blank. I find it odd that all the other sleep utilities work except for the estimated oxygen duration which is just a blank chart.

Was trying to delete this extraneous text but there's no option for that. Sorry.

Are you a premium user also? I signed up and don't know if was a coincidence that it worked. I did have to reboot it 3x before it worked too. I was about to put it in the shredder (haha) when I finally found the graph & it was working. Might take awhile and if you've done all that it only registers after wearing it while sleeping all night.

I'm on a 90 day free premium trial. Seems like this problem started right after I joined. The graph was fine before then. I just rebooted the device about 5 times and the graph is still blank. Hopefully it will fix itself tonight. I wear it every night.

They are saying that the Covid 19 virus affects your ability to hold oxygen
in your lungs. So if this graph shows oxygen saturation in your blood,
Does it show differently if you have the virus?

I don't know the answer to your question. If your concerned I'd get a O2 monitor pulseox.  You can get them in a drug store, Walmart and other websites inexpensive.  If you notice your oxygen levels drop below 80% you best see a doctor.  Normals are above 94% depending on age and health. My graph helps me monitor my sleep apnea which I've noticed the breathing is off at beginning of sleep then drops into green on graph which is better. Hope this helps but as for the virus I don't know how the graph will work since I don't it.
