I have a charge 4 that is doing the same thing. All the other functions seem to be working fine but i got this watch for the workout data, and I'm extremely frustrated.

i tried re-booting, logging out and stopping the app, disconnecting and reconnecting my Bluetooth , and after my next workout, i saw that it worked.

For 2 days.  Then the same problem again.

If anyone has a more permanent fix,  I'm all ears . Thanking you I advance.

It works off and on, so when I work out, it's about 50/50 that i will get any feed back. It didn't work at all on Tuesday and Wednesday...so in a state of frustration, on Thursday, before my workout I did the following:

1) charged my watch to the max

2) turned off walk and run, from recognized activities

3) disconnected from Bluetooth and wifi

4) turned off my phone

5) rebooted my watch

6) turned my phone back on

7) reconnected my phone to Bluetooth and wifi

😎 turned on walk and run, as recognized exercises

It may just be dumb luck, but I got a

proper report on my workout, although it only came in 2 hours later. I am really baffled.

I haven't worked out since Thursday, but I will today, using the same ridiculous technique. I have no idea of which specific actions prompted the workout to show (if any) but I am starting to think I may need to find a more reliable watch.

Above are the actions I went through before every workout, till I began to notice that sometimes the automatic recognition for "walk" and "run" had turned itself off even though I had turned it on and saved it. I now believe that this was the sole issue with my workout data not appearing

So now I only check that run and walk are on and saved in my recognized exercises, immediately before my workout.

And for the last 5 days each time I check it thise settings have held. I have no idea why this issue has resolved itself .

I will probably continue to check it before my workouts because I hate losing my data.

Thanks Andrea for your support and  suggestions. .
