Yesterday I updated my Charge 4 to version 48.20001.100.43. Since then the battery has been draining extremely quickly.
I've charged to full multiple times, attempted to normal and factory reboot multiple times as suggested in some other topics, and even then had no luck.
I've uninstalled the SpO2 App and any other unnecessary apps, but even then, last night I charged to 100%, but by the time I woke up it was at 0%.
Is there any other solutions I'm missing, or a way to roll back the firmware update I installed yesterday? My fitbit was operating fine up until then.
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity.

Mine as well, draining very fast without warning. It was still fine a week ago, not sure if it is due to software update

Mine was the same, fine until Friday then suddenly battery drained within few hours. No change to settings or use. Reached out to help online and only suggestion so far is to turn off my notifications for steps per hour prompts and see how it goes. I've just lost 8% battery in 30 mins so I'm not hopeful.

I did a reset - by going to settings - clear data, and unlinked my device . Then I linked it back, and switched off all unnecessary notifications, gps etc . The batt life is much better now. Just 10% down after 9 hours . I m still monitoring

Batt was ok when it is fully charged, but draining very fast after crossing 75%.. not looking good

I am having the same short battery life issues since Sunday Feb 20th 2022. My battery was lasting me 4-7 days and now 6-8 hours. I can no longer sleep in it since I need to have it charge for my morning exercise.
I have reset it, decrease battery draining apps and follow the battery saving tips found on this website and nothing helps.
please what can I do?

I am having the same issue. Very frustrating. Charged it full before bed and at 3am it is 1% when I have done no activity. Was fine before then until Monday

I wasn't able to resolve mine sadly. Tried turning things off and a reset etc. Followed advice from Fitbit help on twitter and they tracked my data over a couple of days. Saw issue for me and offered a replacement so must be a fault. Have you tried to contact Fitbit help? They were really great with me.

I tried all the steps above too. I didn’t even think about the update. I did mine on Sunday and have had problems since. It won’t even make it through the night.

Can someone tell me how you knew about this update? I have gotten no notifications about it but suddenly my battery won't keep a charge. I know I did not do it manually. Thank you

Like everyone else my device was working fine until last weekend. It’s challenging to be without your device for this long after you’ve been used to utilizing it. For those still struggling with the battery issues after the update and resets have been unsuccessful , it might be time to reach out to support through the app. I started that on Monday and the warranty claim process takes some time. They send you an initial email requesting proof of purchase which takes about 24 hours after your call. Each subsequent response typically takes about 2 days. I’ve wasted 4 days trying to explain to them over email I purchased direct from Amazon not a reseller through Amazon. Have your receipt/invoice ready to be emailed which will save you some time. Good luck!

I'm having the same issue. I did a reset and even bought a new charging cable, but it didn't help. The battery is draining extremely fast. I was used to charging my Charge 4 every week, but not anymore.

The same thing with the battery dying down quickly has been happening starting around mid-February. I don't know if there was an update, because I think mine does it automatically. My battery life was shorter (than when it was brand new) before mid-February, but by that I mean that even in early February, I could usually go about 3-4 days between recharge. Suddenly I am having to charge at least once per day, sometimes twice. My Charge 4 is outside of the one year warranty, so I'm not sure if contacting support will help me? Any other ideas?

I reached out to support, and they told me it was abnormal battery behavior. Since I was out of the warranty time frame, they sent me a code for 35% off. Not sure I want another Fitbit after this happened. I'm afraid the battery issue will happen again on another Fitbit device.
