Yesterday I updated my Charge 4 to version 48.20001.100.43. Since then the battery has been draining extremely quickly.
I've charged to full multiple times, attempted to normal and factory reboot multiple times as suggested in some other topics, and even then had no luck.
I've uninstalled the SpO2 App and any other unnecessary apps, but even then, last night I charged to 100%, but by the time I woke up it was at 0%.
Is there any other solutions I'm missing, or a way to roll back the firmware update I installed yesterday? My fitbit was operating fine up until then.

Even though you are outside of the warranty period, I would contact them and push the issue. It can't hurt.
This same thing, with the bit of plastic that connects to the band falling off, happened to me, and they did not repair it. They just sent me a new one. I lucked out when it happened, because it was last year mid-February a week before my warranty expired on Feb 21,2022.
The one I have now is almost exactly a year old, but obviously not on a warranty because I'm assuming it falls under the warranty for the original one. So now the battery lasts less than 24 hours. I'm beginning to wonder if these aren't being manufactured to fall apart right after warranty! I laugh when I say that, but it's not an unheard of practice by companies.
Whatever is going on, there's a real issue with the products. I'm thrilled with the service Fitbit provides, but I'm not thrilled with serious degrade of quality. I've been an extremely loyal Fitbit user for over a decade now, and there is no good reason devices should now need to be replaced every year (or two, as in your case). I'm going to start seriously looking around to see if other brands are more reliable 😞

If you shop around and find something you think is comparable, please feel free to come back and share the info! I'm feeling rather the way you are about it, if you see my response to Cheryl. I can't believe this is such an issue. I think the big concern for me is that I also paid for the app to get the sleep information (doctor's orders), so I may now be stuck with another year of something I can't even use if I don't get a new one.

Andrea, I will look at those suggestions, but please note that everyone in this thread has had this happen suddenly after installing the latest firmware update. This is clearly caused by the new firmware.
I used to be able to use my watch for up to two weeks without charging. Now I can't even use it for two hours. Please have your programmers troubleshoot and send a new firmware update.

*UPDATE* I now have horizontal lines going through my clock face, which makes it harder to read the time. I rebooted my Charge 4 and changed the clock face. This just started after the battery draining issue last week. I guess these devices just don't last very long. Very frustrating.

I have had the same issue since Feb 16th, it was working fine ie charging every 3-4 days with runs using GPS etc then one morning I got up and the battery was dead after being fully charged the previous evening, my firmware version is 48.20001.100.76 I don't know wether it was updated recently, also the plastic clip that holds the strap on broke off but I managed to glue it back on with epoxy. All the battery saving tips from support have had no effect so after not even 3 years the watch is junk, with no recycling program either it is such a waste of resources to have a £125 device that you throw away after 1,2,or 3 years. I wonder if Google has something to do with this ?

I had this problem a few months ago. I found a replacement band on Amazon that was very affordable that does not need the plastic piece. For these bands, you just need the Fitbit screen part. The small screen slides into a silicone watch band. The brand was called “Juaupepo” and I have not had an issue with it so far!
