Face won’t light up anymore when I turn my wrist

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

It works and lights up when you hit the button but it won’t show the time or anything when I turn my wrist anymore. I need it to do so because I’m my line of work, I can’t touch it with my hand. Please help!

Have you checked your quick settings by holding in the button as explained in your user manual? See the help link below.

Is quick view turned on?

I don’t have a user manual. Can you explain how to turn on face with wrist movement?

@sherrykthompson without knowing your tracker model, I'll point you to your user manual.

Tap the link to help that is at the bottom of any page.

Tap the picture of your tracker.

Tap the user manual.

Thank you for your response. I have a Charge 3. At your direction, I went
to the manual and followed all directions to try and make the light come on
when I twist my wrist. I did not have any luck. Still will not come on.

I've tried it every which way my wrist will sit and turn. It does not work.

Hi, @sherrykthompson , first when you say you checked the manual and “followed all directions” did you confirm that “Screen wake” is turned on?  You can do this on the device itself.  From the clock face screen squeeze your Charge 3 (squeezing operates the haptic “button” on the side).  On the next screen swipe you will see DND, sleep, and if you swipe up, Screen wake.

Make sure DND is not turned on (tap to toggle between off and on).  Also make sure sleep is not turned on, finally make sure Screen Wake IS turned on (again tap to toggle between off and on. ) if you see the lightbulb it is on.

When you have done that, squeeze again to return to the clock face.

Sometimes it can take a little practice to get screen wake to operate.  I find the best technique is to lift your arm just slightly then give a quick flip of the wrist towards you.

I hope this helps!  Let us know if you continue to have difficulty.
