Hello.  I just bought a Fitbit Charge HR last week and have been trying to connect to my Facebook so I can add friends there but when I connect in the android app, I just get a circle that spins forever.  I've tried revoking it from the Fitbit website and reconnecting 4 times with the same results.  When I close the app and return to it later it just says no friends were found, though I know several do have Fitbits and are connected.  I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7.  Any suggestions?

Hello @zerozenx, it's nice to see you here! Thank you for trying the recommended troubleshooting for this kind of issues, my suggestion now is following these steps in the order it appears:

 

  1. Revoke the access again to the app from the online Dashboard.
  2. In your phone, uninstall and reinstall both apps, Facebook and Fitbit.
  3. Restart your phone.
  4. Log in again in both of the apps and try to link them once again.

Just got my fitbit today and am having the exact same issue. It is frustrating, I only bought a fitbit so that I could connect with people I know and do challenges.
