Feedback for warranty process for Charge 3

BUYER BEWARE!

I bought my first Fitbit Charge 3 in July 2019. I am now on my FOURTH Charge 3 since then. All four developed the black lines (dead pixels). This cannot be fixed. Since my fourth Charge 3 is out of warranty, I can no longer get a replacement, just a discount on a new Fitbit. So now I'm stuck with four useless fitness trackers.

I understand how warranties work, but should they really apply to defective products? Why wasn't the Charge 3 recalled? Is it too much to ask for a device that works more than 4-5 months? This is ridiculous. Maybe other people have money to throw away, but I don't. Thoroughly disgusted and will never buy a Fitbit again.

I am on my 3rd fitbit also.  I loved my very 1st one that was a clip on. Lasted so many years.  This is my 2nd Watch, Charge 3 and a replacement for the black lines also.  The did send me a new one, and now only 5 months in, this one is doing the same thing. So it does look like they know this is an issue.  I did come to the Community to see if there is any help but it looks like this is an ongoing problem and no way to solve it except to buy another product some where else. What other products are others pleased with?

I bought mine exactly a year ago and mine has done the same thing as yours did. Interesting how it only has a 1 year warranty. I'm sure this is not an accident but preprogramed to die after a period of use, so your forced to keep buying new ones. Pulling the same underhanded scam as Apple did with their customers sounds like. My past Fitbits Charge 1 & 2 would at least last 2 years! I'm tired of wasting my money and will never buy another **ahem** FitBit again!
