My Charge 3 went through a firmware update today (v20001.88.11) and now there isn’t an option to set a silent alarm. During the update it said that they would be deleted and I’d have to reset them but that option isn’t anywhere that I can find it now.

I worked as a developer. You never take anything away from a user. Only improve on it.

Just an FYI if you have a PC Using Windows 10 the Fitbit app has not changed. I set my alarms using that dashboard. More than one way to skin a Fitbit..... LOL!!

Great Thanks for that. I use an Apple and I have found it there as well in my Charge 3 settings area.

Hi there,
someone has just pointed out to me that if you have a computer try logging into Fitbit and for him and myself, I use a Mac, I am still able to set multiple alarms thru the site....not the app. Hope this helps you!
choose the wheel in top right corner...settings...
then on the right side menu choose charge 3 view device settings
silent alarms for me is the top most choice. You can set alarms like we could on the app. Change by clicking on the pencil.
hope this helps

On your Fitbit device swipe right until you find alarms then tap on it. Set the time then tap on repeats.

Yes, Window 10 Fitbit dashboard has not changed. So, I checked the alarms :alarm_clock: and it's fine. Word to the wise do not update your computer app.

do not install any updates on your PC for Fitbit.

Hi,
Thank you for mentioning about the Win10 app, I'd not thought about it as I've never used it before. I'm having problems getting it to work though unfortunately. It looks like it is saving the alarms in the app but they're not being activated on my Charge 3 and are also not shown under the alarms setting on the Charge 3. Have you got any ideas please? I've tried forcing a sync.
Thank you

My fitbit has been problems since I own it. Steps is the only exercise that really works. Removing silent alarms from the app is the last straw. I think I'll try a Samsung.

Make sure your Bluetooth is on in your PC. Then you will be able to sync it from the PC app.
Go to settings in Windows then devices.

Hi,
Thanks for replying so quickly to help. The Charge 3 is paired via Bluetooth. My step count is the same on the Charge 3 and in the Win 10 app. It is just the alarms that won't sync. 😞 I'd be really grateful of you could check that your alarms are syncing on your Charge 3 please.
So unhappy about the update that Fitbit have rolled out. No warning was given of the full content and implications of the update. I have disabled automatic updates to all Microsoft Store apps. Very frustrated that I have to use a sledgehammer to crack a nut due to Fitbits actions. I only want to disable it for Fitbit.

Your Charge3 is connected to your phone. In order to connect it to the Windows app, you need to disable the Bluetooth on you phone first. Then you will be able to connect it to the Windows app by clicking on the sync icon. The steps and other current information you see in the Windows app comes from the Fitbit server to which your phone, currently connected to your Charge3, has sent it.

Thank you for trying to help. I have disabled Bluetooth completely on my phone (not a great customer experience!) Walked around (to change my step count). Step count on Win10 app and watch match but still no new alarms shown in alarms section on the Charge 3. Only the one that I have painfully manually set for tomorrow. 😞 From what I have been experiencing, I think the Win10 and Fitbit.com silent alarms have been disabled as well. Very unhappy.

The new alarm is horrible. I have it set for 4:30am and it goes off at 4:06am. There is a "range" - what is up with it? It worked perfectly before this "upgrade"!

Yes, mine are syncing. Did you reboot your Fitbit device. I know that I rebooted mine. I would give that a try.
