I have tried multiple times to update my Fitbit's firmware, and every time it has failed. I have tried with Fitbit both on and off the charger, after rebooting both my fitbit and phone. Now I have unpaired my fitbit from my phone and now it will not pair with either my phone (Samsung Galaxy J3 Eclipse - with updated fitbit app 8/19) or my windows 10 machine. I have tried re-pairing both on and off the charger, and after restarting all devices. Getting frustrated...

Hi Mike, I understand your frustration because I have been experiencing the exact same problem with my Charge 2. My phone is a Samsung Sa8, and have also tried on my Windows 10 laptop. I am able to get the four digit code and enter it and then nothing progresses. Help, Fitbit and Fitbit Community!

Same problem here. Won't update firmware.Tried on phone. Deleted and reinstalled. Tried using computer and doesn't work. I also have the Samsung A8. My husband has the S8 and he got notifcation today for the firmware update and his worked the first time.
Really getting tired of Fitbit. Always seems to be trouble updating anything.
Think it might be time to look for something different.
