Hi All,

Thought of sharing my experience of using fitbit charge hr.

I have been using my fitbit charge hr from almost 11 months now. The moment I had it on my wrist I was so excited. I started going for walking, jogging.  It was fun to wear it go for workout.

I never had any problems with the device, except that some time the heart rate doesn’t track my heart beat. I was still ok with it and continued to use it.

Recently the first problem I encountered is I saw a small bubble appear on the band. I still didn’t complain and continued wearing it(the bubble now has become big). One fine day I was at work and my fitbit beeped of low charge and switched off after sometime. It was usual for me and thought I will charge it once I go home. Once I got back home I put the fitbit to charge, it started showing me power icon (with no progress bar). I kept it for charging for 2 hrs and returned to check if it’s full. To my surprise it was still showing power icon with no progress bar. I removed it from charging and immediately my fitbit died off, when I put it back the same power icon appears.

I tried searing for solutions from the community, I found many saying to clean the charge points at the back of fitbit. I did that with a soft toothbrush. Still nothing

I tried to reset by pressing the bottom for more than 20 sec, it resets, and it blinks but come back to the same power icon and doesn’t charge.

I was so worried about it now. It’s been few days I don’t have it on my wrist. I have saved up money to buy it and loved it, but now it’s dead.

Today I have sent a mail to the support team about it, will continue to write when I hear back from them.

Hi @RaxReddy, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! Oh! I'm sorry to hear that your Charge HR is not charging even after all the tips you tried to fix this issue. In this case, considering that you already tried the most common suggested steps, then the best you could do was get in touch with Fitbit Support. I'm pretty sure they will respond as fast as they can, take a look of your account and choose the best option to get you back on track.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Very Happy

They will offer you 25% off a new one, this is happening to a lot of people, their product is defective, battery will only last over maybe 13 months, then they tell you it's your fault on how you used it,good luck on getting any help.
