Hello everyone,
After years of good use and since two days ago, my FitBit Charge 2 charges its battery, then it is on for about 2 minutes and then turns off itself. It indicates that the battery is totally empty (?). I've tried charging it a whole night, changing sockets and I have also tried resetting it many times, and even resetting it to factory settings, cleaning the charger as indicated on the website. It "fully" charges and then in only two minutes it is completely empty again!!! (?). Could you please tell me what the solution to this problem is, please?

This is a known issue and unless you are still under warranty there is no solution. Fitbit known this is a known issue. They should recall the product.

My Fitbit is dead as before. I rebooted it several times but that didn’t fix it. If I had bought it in Europe I would have had a 2 year warranty.
This is clearly a defective product, should you still be able to sell this?

my Charge 2 battery has been dying rapidly since mid February.. I reached out to support and their answer is we'll give you 25% off and you can buy another one. I'm like 99% sure the issue is with a firmware upgrade they did in early to mid February. I'm concern they are intentionally bricking older devices to get you to buy new ones.

Oh yeah, mee too, after all, it's all about the money and programmed obsolescence 😞 That's just the way this "modern" world works. Pity for the consumers!
