Ever since upgrading my phone from Sony Xperia X to Huawei Honor 10 my Blaze will no longer sync. If I delete the device and reinstall it will sync once but then ceases to work I have checked the forums and it appears that Fitbit know about the problem but don't give a toss. Looks like I need to buy a different smartwatch.

I note that the Honor 10 is not on fitbit's list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices
Not being on the list means either that it's not been tested yet or that it's been tested and proven to not consistently work. I guess it's the latter in your case and a new smartwatch seems the best option for you.
