Fitbit Charge 2 Wristband Defective and Unsupported

I love my Charge 2 but am disappointed with Fitbit's support of the known issue of their defective wristband that simply falls off.  It was replaced earlier (under warranty at the time) with the same issue.  Here we are now, less than 9 months later and I have almost lost it due to it falling off.

Fitbit's "Support Team" says that there is nothing they can do since it's out of warranty.  They suggest that I buy another one off their website.  I've had the Charge 2 for less than 18 months and this would be the third band to be used with it.  I do not know of any similar product that breaks down every six months and the company suggests I simply purchase another one (knowing very well that it will break down again in the very near future given the number of complaints of this issue).

Just wondering if there are any other options out there before I go to Amazon and buy a 3rd party band.

Fitbit ... very frustrated!  Any suggestions?

Of course there are options. Amazon for less than 10USD or simply search the web for Fitbit Charge 2 wrist bands.

I do not want to go to a 3rd party wrist band but will most likely have to (since buying another Fitbit wrist band would most likely breakdown soon after ... given its history).

Just surprised with Fitbit not supporting their product a bit more since it is a well known defect in design or quality (although the Charge 2 device itself is wonderful and I am very happy with it).

Not knowing the condition of the current band it may be possible to fix. But personally there are several bands on Amazon that have an all metal connection or hard plastic with a good connection to the strap. Both hold up very well and worth the money. 

I just checked and notice that the 19.99 band is now 5.99. 

Not sure what to say, most Fitbit users I know find their original charge 2 band last 1-3 years.
