Ok, I'm new to this, but i'm pretty sure that if I do 8 flights of stairs (and the halls in between), I should get more than 10 steps. my co-workers do the same route and get their 500 steps - I get 10-100. I've had this "tracker" for a week and it mostly counts about 2000 steps in a day - no matter how many times i do those 8 flights (i try to do it 6 times a day), or if I do a 2 mile trail walk, and no matter which wrist i put it on, (I even tried it on my ankle). and the sleep function is hysterical, I can apparently read an entire book and a trip to the toilet in REM sleep. This was supposed to be for UHC Motion, but while my co-workers get step credit for drinking coffee, I can't get credit for doing 8 flights of stairs (Weirdly, I do get credit for most of the floors, but I am apparently a Dalek and go up without taking any steps).

@vincula It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that your Charge 2 isn't recording your steps. Your tracker will detect the movement on your arm and translate that movement into steps. There are situations in which your arm may move but you won't be actually walking and vice versa. This may happen when you are playing the drums, burping a baby or clapping and the opposite can happen when you push a cart. It can also happen when driving. For added sensitivity you can try wearing your tracker on your dominant hand but select that hand as non dominant on the tracker’s settings to make it more sensitive to movement. Finally restart it.
Let me know how it goes!
