Fitbit Charge 2 frozen on battery screen and won't reset

Hello,

My charge 2 hr was showing a black screen for a few hours so I plugged it in to charge. As soon as I pugged it in, the fitbit home screen and model number came up and then it showed the charging bar as normal. I thought it was fine and when I went to check on it after about an hour of charging, it was frozen on the battery screen and the bar hadn't moved at all to show that it was charging. I tried to hold the button for 10-12 seconds to reset it and it will vibrate but all it shows is the battery screen. I also tried to unpair it from my phone to see if that would do anything but it didn't. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thank you

Update: the screen is just completely black now and no longer frozen on that battery screen. It will still vibrate when I push the button and will still sync to my phone but they display is no longer working.

Try resetting the Charge 2 with the charger connected. Depress the left button until the Fitbit symbol is displayed. And attempt to pair with the app on the phone.

Any help will be appreciated

Reset the Charge2 by connecting it to the plugged-in charger and then depress the left button for at least four seconds. Then you should see the Fitbit logo. This means the Charge2 has been reset.

Then attempt to pair it with the phone app using the instructions in the app.
