Hi everyone! I just started using fitbit charge 2, which is great so far. But I am trying to decipher the icons on the screen. When I tap the clock I get the Steps taken, Current heart rate, Distance covered, Calories burned, Floors climbed, Active minutes and Hourly activity. So far the first 5 seem to be self-explanatory. I am still puzzled about the last 2 though.
Do you know what the number represents on Hourly activity and how it is measured? I haven't exercised yet - just briefly walked around the office - and the counter was set to 46 (and I am only guessing that little happy man icon represents hourly activity, is that correct?). Similarly, if that was set to 46 then how are the Active minutes calculated? Cause at the same time that was set to 0.
I would appreciate the help! Thanks in advance! 🙂

The numbers under the guy
0/250
first is how many you have walked so far this hour
250 is what you need to reach in that hour. it never changes
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply Wendy!
Ok so, if I got it right the little happy man icon is how many steps I have walked within the hour, which resets to 0 every hour, right?
And how do the active minutes work? - the thunder/lightning icon. Do they automatically start only when I exercise? What is it that they count?

@William4291, if you are asking about the icons on the Charge 2 (subject of this thread) they are as follows:
Pair of shoes: steps taken today (since midnight)
Heart: current heartrate
Mile marker: distance so far today
Flame: calories burned so far today
Stair case: floors climbed
lightening bolt: active minutes
Dancing person: How many hours you have achieved at least 250 steps (out of how many goal hours -- you can set your hours for at least 250 steps in the app)
I hope this helps. If that doesn't answer your question please do post again.
Edited to add: apologies! I just noticed this is a very old post. But perhaps this list of icons will help someone...

The icons on the tracker match the icons on the app and these are labeled.

The lightning bolt only logs activity that lasts for whatever duration you indicated in settings; the default is 15 minutes, you can go as low as 10.

The lightning bolt is active minutes.

Hi @Fandom that sounds like your hours with 250 or more steps.
