Fitbit Charge 2 is not notifying me when I reach my goal

On my app I have prioritised step numbers, having previously chosen calorie burning. My charge 2 does not buzz and notify with the spaceship/firework type display when this is achieved as it used to with the calorie burning goal, so I have to keep checking if I have reached my step target yet. Annoying because the new target is a priority because of a recent diagnosis which means I need to achieve a certain step count daily, so I am very keen to make sure I have done that each day.

@Loop93 Welcome to the forums. Thanks for the explanation, that the Charge 2 does not celebrate when you reach your step goal.

Please make sure that the notifications are enabled. Press and hold the button until it vibrates. That will toggle the notifications. Please check if these were turned on. Thanks in advance. If they were on, please restart your Charge 2 according to the instructions in this article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?. Then make keep an eye on the step count and goal. Thanks in advance.
