Stumped as to why, after 2 years of faithful use, my Fitbit HR2 stopped connecting to my phone a week ago and refuses to repair. Phone: Blackberry BBD100-2, Android version 8.1.0
Process I have tried already:
1) turn Bluetooth on/off (many times) and also disconnected any other possible conflicting Bluetooth devices around such as speakers)
2) restart phone (many times)
3) tried connecting through the app
4) tried connecting through Bluetooth
5) removed the device (losing any stored info) and now it will no longer reconnect device
6) soft booted hardware on device (plug in. hold button 8 seconds) and tried to add device to my phone again
7) Now I get to the point of getting the 4 digit number PIN to insert into screen...and it hands and sticks
After a week of this without progress, I ask the hive mind for help.
Suggestions?

Hi @Veebr I have moved your post to the Charge 2 Forum (from Charge 3). The phone you have is not on the Supported Devices List which may well be the problem, unfortunately. I know it has worked for the past couple of years, but with unsupported phones, if something upsets the connection (usually an update to phone or fitbit) then no one is working towards fixing it. Try the suggestions in THIS Help Article on syncing problems.
I dont know anything about the Charge 2 or Blackberrys so cant help futher, but hopefully someone will come along can help.
