Fitbit Charge 2 not working at all!

My Fitbit charge 2 will not charge, the screen displays nothing and I have tried everything that customer service has requested. I am wondering is this a matter of malfunctioning on the companies and since there are so many complaints regarding the same issue.

In the same situation, received charge 2 this morning and can't get it to turn on.  Its been charging for a long time but nothing, I read it was meant to vibrate and something come up on screen when charging but this isn't happening.  Have held down the button for 12+ seconds numerous times but nothing happens

In the last 2 days my HR 2 will no longer keep a charge. I plug it in , let it charge over night and the battery icon show full. but in an hour - its gone

if your fitbit is showing on the app try to disconnect from it on the app it could will work or try to change the face of the watch

I'm having the same issue as well.  My charge 2 started to not work on Sunday.  Read "why isn't my battery charging" and cleaned it with alcohol like the article said to see if that would help.  Charged it overnight Sunday, it said it was completely charged and then 20 minutes later it was dead.  Put it back on the charger before I left for work on Monday, saw that it was completely charged and it worked for a few hours and then died on Tuesday.  Not quite sure what else to do.

To clarify, the fit bit wrist band is not charging, but you can still access data on the App? My fit bit shows no data from the wrist band when I sync- should I trash the App and re download?

Also- this Fit bit is now 2 years old- how old are all of the other fit bits that are having this issue?

It will be 2 years in July that I've had my Charge 2

Could this be a reason?
