Fitbit Charge 2 tracker not showing pin number

Since for 2 months I haven't been able to sync my Fitbit Charge 2 tracker with the app I decided to remove the tracker from the account and add it again. Now the tracker is not showing the PIN number after I try to "Setup a new device". It searches for it, finds it and asks me the 4 number pin code but the tracker is not showing it.

I checked here : https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Charge-2/Can-t-find-the-4-digit-code/td-p/2122410 but nothing works. I tried to restart the tracker 3 times in a row, turn off the Bluetooth and back on, turn off the phone wait and turn it back on, charge the tracker for 2 hours. Even install the app on another device: same result.

The firmware is 22.58.00.

@M00ra It's great to see you in the Community!

Let me help you setting up your Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Let me know how it goes.
