@ScifiKooter Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

Let me help you with your unresponsive Charge 2 and thank you for troubleshooting it. It seems that your device isn't charging so I suggest you try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.

I’ve had the same thing happen to my charge 2. I’ve tried the reset and get the Fitbit logo and rev but then it goes funky static like and nothing happens. I’ve left it on the charger but it never turns back on.

I've cleaned the contacts and tried the reset and nothing works. The green lights flash when moved and the only icon that shows on the screen is a dead battery. It will not charge but it seems like it will not die either. I've left it unplugged for a week and when I grab it the lights start flashing again. It's been plugged in for the past week and still shows a dead battery.
