Fitbit Charge 3 - Screen Not Working

ANSWERED

Hi Everyone,

Ive had my Fitbit Charge 3 for nearly a week now and was working fine up until last night.

When I woke up this morning the screen was not working and it wasn’t syncing with the app.

One the back of the device, there is a green and red light constantly flashing.

Ive tried pressing the side buttons and I have tried putting it on charge but neither are working.

Does anyone one have any tips on what to do?

Thanks

Hi! I contacted FitBit about this problem. I had no success pressing the button and holding it or putting it on the charger and trying to restart it. FitBit support had me go in and change my clock face. That did it for me. Once I chose the clock face in the settings of the FitBit app, it synced with my FitBit and reset the screen.

Hi, I never had this problem  but try tapping the watch icon on your Fitbit app,  then go to general notifications  and see if your watch is set to always vibrate.  If that dont work call tech, support or we can try something else.

Good luck

It's hard to tell if you got your Fitbit fixed. I forgot to charge my Fitbit and the screen went black, and I was frustrated.

I hope this fix works for you.

Your Fitbit must be charged and synced with your phone or computer.

Plug in your clip to the wall socket and place you watch into the clip. Now squeeze the watch for 10 or more seconds on the side of the clip while the watch is still in the clip.

Good luck

Can somebody please tell me how to remove myself from this chain of comments? I have received more than 100 of them in my email inbox and it won't stop.

Does anyone know?

Thanks!

You can go to your Fitbit app, and go to notifications and control email and text messages to turn on and off. I hope this helps.Sent via the Samsung Galaxy S8+, an AT&T 5G Evolution smartphone

Holding the side button did nothing.  Any other clues for me?

There was more to it.

Make sure your Fitbit watch is charged and synced to cell phone or computer.

Then place your charging clip into the socket  after that place your watch into the clip, and press the side of the watch while it's in the clip for 10 or 15 seconds.

If that dont work I read someone went I to there Fitbit app and changed the face of th here clock and that helped them.

Good luck

Got mine to work by hooking it up to the charger AND THEN holding the button in...... all the other directions to reset we’re not mentioning that you need to do this while ON the charger!

Hello, my Fitbit Charge 3’s screen is black .  It has been charged and green light is blinking but no matter how many times I tap on it, it doesn’t come on.

This is what worked for me.

1. First make sure that your watch is syncing with the app on your phone.
If it is then proceed.

2. Plug your watch into the charger

3. Once on the charger, press the side button and hold for 8-10 seconds.
You should then see a smiley face and hopefully your display will come back.

Hope this helps.
