Hi everyone. My fitbit charge 3 died and won't charge. It says 0% then jumps to 100% when attached to the charger for only minutes but dies again as soon as its placed back on my wrist. I've cleaned it all as suggested by Fitbit, I've rebooted it, cleared all data and started from scratch pairing it with my.phone again but it still won't work. Is there anything I can do or is the Fitbit useless now? (I've had it 2 years)
Thank you. Nicola
Urgh how annoying! They're expensive enough and shouldn't be breaking down
so quickly! Do you mind me asking how/where you contacted Fitbit to discuss
the issue? Thanks

There was no resolution for me. I was offered 35% a new purchase. I think mine was a year and a half.

Something might be wrong with fitbiit systems..if you check..this problem started more or less same time..last week to us and we had them for 1 yr couple of months ..Is this a coincidence or it's man made..just being curious 🤔👀......anyway I will try other brands..

Yes, very strange. Now today, I hit 10,000 steps b noon, got the celebration buzz, and now fitbit is dead. I've gone back to my Flex 2 until I can purchase another product. I am in the middle of a step contest at work. Don't want to miss out on leaving early !

Yeah same is my case. So not good customer care. Is there any way to get the battery replaced even if it comes with a cost. The warranty period is still on though. Can anyone suggest where can it be fixed?

I just took a Fitbit charge three out of the package that I bought a month ago and it died yesterday. This will be the fifth Fitbit charge three that has died within a year and a half I keep getting replacements but I think I better move up to another one a different
No the last three charge 3 I have had have died within six months. Very poor design.
I am going to try the charge 4. If that dies within six months like the last four that I’ve had I’m just gonna have to bite the bullet and buy something different.

My husband had his replaced his Charge 3 within the year time, but it still has issues. I had a funeral for mine......it totally died. Now no screen. I am using my fitbit flex, which is over 6 years old, and still works, until I can move on.

Mine started doing that 2 days ago....but mine jumps between 1% and 100%.
Since it drains down to 0% after I have it on for a minute, technically it drains to 0%, charges to 1%, thinks it's at 100% and stops charging, rinse and repeat.

For devices out of the warranty period, a discount is currently offered. If you have questions about our warranty, please check: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty
On a side note, if you haven't contacted our Support Team, you can do so here. Note that you can explain the situation and mention the troubleshooting steps you've followed, this way our Support Team can continue assisting you from there.

Thanks for the tips, I'm sure that they will help. It does seem like maybe these fitbits have an inherent problem. Maybe, Wilson, you could inform those above you, in the chain of command, what your discovering here in this forum. Maybe they should do some kind of a recall like the Auto industry and help us out a bit. Where's the proper customer support? It seems you're losing a lot of potential repeat customers. I myself am not buying another Fitbit because of the issues I'm having with this one after only a year.
