Fitbit Charge 3 black screen, no green light, no vibrating, over heats if I try to charge it

Hello,

 

Today the Fitbit Charge 3 would not sync to android or computer.  Did the rebooting from Fitbit from the menu and even when putting in the charge cable holding it for 8 seconds and etc .. Still would not sync uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled .. restarted the phone ... rebooted Fitbit still nothing and the Fitbit was charged at 96%. I have done everything as stated in the forums and nothing to get to sync.

 

Then suddenly it went completely dead, black screen,   No flashing green light, no vibration and even when you put on the charging cable nothing, it will not turn on or charge at all ....I decided to charge it and 15 minutes later I went to check and nothing was happening but when I went to touch the Fitbit it was extremely hot.  I unplugged and then it cooled off. Decided to try again and put the Fitbit back on the charging cable and tried the rebooting etc .. still nothing.  Went to leave it on to charge again and it went extremely hot again.  I am just glad I did not leave it overnight God knows what would of happened.  This is dangerous for a Fitbit Charge 3 to get this hot.

 

I have only had this Fitbit Charge 3 just over a year .. but I can see there is ongoing issues with Fitbit Charge 3 with no resolutions.  I don't see any issues being resolved when going through the Community Help Forums with the problems I am having. Disappointed of the life span and issues that this Fitbit Charge 3 has.

My Fitbit charge 3 has recently gotten 3 fine black lines across the screen. Tried regular and factory reset and neither has worked to get rid of them. What can I do?
