Fitbit Charge 3 display won’t turn on

I have no idea what has happened, but my Fitbit seems to have a mind of its own, I can’t turn it on or check my stats or notifications, but if I do press the ‘on/off’ button on the side, it will still make a vibration sometimes, other times it will turn on by itself and start vibrating randomly. It also keeps scrolling up and down for me and even changes my quick settings. I’ve tried all the steps about charging it and holding it for 15 seconds etc. But it still won’t work. I’ve never swam in it, it’s never got anything stuck in it. It just decided not to work. I’ve had my Fitbit for over a year and I’ve never experienced anything such as it. Please tell me someone else has experienced this and if so how do you fix it? Thanks 🙂

Thanks for the advice, my Fitbits display now works, but the main problem is still there, it’s still controlling itself. The situation is hard to explain but it seems to have a mind of its own and randomly swipes up and presses random notifications or changes my settings in quick settings, and does all this without me even touching the Fitbit, I’m genuinely completely confused with what to do.
