2 days ago my Charge 3 suddenly started draining battery very quickly — it went from 54% to 0 in ~3 hours. After fully charging it before going to bed it drained completely in ~4.5 hours.
I installed the fitbit update, logged out of and closed the app, and logged back in — no change. I cleared all of the data (factory reset) and re-synced to my phone, and today it's even worse — today it's taking longer to charge and fully discharging in under an hour. It's un-useable.
I contacted chat for support and they told me there were known issues with iOS and they didn't know when it would be resolved, and they had no other help to offer. I'm here looking for other complaints about this "known issue" and I'm not seeing anything ...

I complained about the same thing this morning. It’s getting ridiculous. This will be my third Fitbit that stopped working on me in less than a year.

It has now been charging for 2+ hours and is at 14%. 🙄

And apparently having used it for 3-3.5 months they are saying it’s no longer under warranty. I heard better things than this about Fitbit.

Hello
My Charge 3 has been playing up all day today.
The charged battery drained out within an hour earlier, all the while constantly vibrating.
Now it shows the Fitbit logo with 100 below it.
I have done the long reset twice now but the logo keeps coming back.

So yesterday my charge 3 was at 74% at around 9am.
9% around 11pm
Dead this morning.
I turned off all notifications in case it was due to excessive buzzing.
Not that then.

I charged my Fitbit charge 3 three times yesterday. It would be charged to 100% and within 2 hours it would be dead. At night when I take it off the green light on the back continuously blinks unless it’s plugged in on the charger.

I've been a massive fan of Fitbit for years and they have usually been very good.
Mine also switched to fully discharging within hours since the weekend. Before that it was taking days as it was meant to but it's not far off being completely useless as it's needing to be on charge most of the time now.
Was it an update that's caused this? If so when can we expect it to be sorted? Hours, days or weeks?

My battery has been draining really fast as well. Unfortunately, my green light is dead. No active minutes, no sleep history, etc.

All of the old Versas went down too. Convenient that most of us are just out of the warranty period.

Nothing has changed from my perspective. I had to charge mine up 3 times yesterday, each time was under 15% and charged it up to full!

I've just spoken to Fitbit and they looked into it and said I qualify for replacement as they can see there's a problem with it. I bought it in July 2019 so my faith in them is restored!
I had option of 50% off different model if I preferred.
I bought my first Fitbit in 2013 so have had 8 years with only a few issues in that time and usually swiftly resolved so worth speaking to them if you haven't already.

Hello everyone. Thanks for participating in the community forums.
I apologize for the experience you've had. @Steve_007 Thanks for the great input and I'm glad to hear that our Support Team was able to help.
At this time, I'd like to let you know that there isn't a recent Firmware update for the Charge 3, and the last one was released some time ago. The current version is 1.88.11 and you can confirm this information in this link.
If the battery is still draining quickly, my best recommendation is that you please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance. They will be able to look into your cases and provide a prompt resolution. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone and you can click here to get connected.
See you around.
