My fitbit continuously vibrates and keeps flipping screens. The only proper way to describe it is as spazzing out. I have tried to restart it, but that has not helped. I only put it on the charger and when I came back it began to vibrate and flip screens. I am really upset about this and would like to know how to fix it.

Mine just started doing this today as well. Now it's unresponsive.

Mine has also started doing this today. Tried all the restarts, and changing clock face, but is continuing with the vibrating and changing screens.

My started acting up today as well. Now it is completely non-responsive too. Display is blank but will vibrate when I plug in charger similar to when I am trying to charge my watch. But nothing afterwards. Can't reset or restart watch. No success connecting on computer or through app.

Mine appears to be working now. I think the battery was fully drained so when I plugged my Fitbit back into charger, it vibrated a bunch of times then I saw the smiley face. It’s charging now and so far it appears to be working. I am now able to connect via the app.
I forgot to mention earlier, there was a solid red light on in the back and it stayed that way until I think the battery drained. Watch got pretty warm too.
If it acts up again, I will contact tech support.

Mine did the same thing and when I it on the charger and tried to reboot, all I got was a white line across my screen. Any thoughts?

I'm so disappointed to see this. I talked to support 2 weeks ago about my Ionic doing the same thing you are describing here and they said it needed to be replaced but was out of warranty. I was considering the Charge 3 as a replacement but since it appears to be more widespread it might be time to look beyond Fitbit.

Update: my Fitbit still is not working properly. Side button is non-responsive and heartbeat monitor is not working.
called customer support and went through resolution steps with no success.
Ultimately replacing under warranty.
Good luck to others having issues.

My Charge 3 Fitbit started flipping between screens on 7/30/20 and it drained my battery. I charged it but it would only charge to 98% and was still flipping back and forth. I took it off the charger and it started to drain the battery again. I’m going to try one more time to drain the battery fully. I also made sure every tiny piece of dirt was not along the watch bands. This is very disappointing to read all the comments below and why this is such a problem. I’ll be calling Tech Support on Monday if it’s still not working. Thank goodness I’m still under warranty. I’ll post back later with what I’ve found.

Mine has started doing the same thing too. Have any of you used a magnetic metal watch and with yours? Wonder if my band caused the problem.

Hello everyone. @soprisue Welcome to the community forums.
Thank you very much for the detailed information and for any step you've tried prior to posting. Regarding your question, I don't believe that your 3rd party band could have caused the inconvenience, but if restarting your Charge 3 hasn't resolved the inconvenience, I'd recommend contacting our Support Team for further assistance. Note that you can contact them through chat or over the phone, but phone wait times have been longer than normal, so I recommend initiating a chat. Click here to get connected.
See you around.
