Ever since I changed my fitbit wrist band, the fitbit is not staying charged, the display is dim and it does not react to my swipes.

I have moved your thread to the Charge board as it is better suited to your situation.

 

Regarding the dim display, I'd recommend that you please look through this thread as it should help you get the screen with the brightness you'd like. 

 

As for the battery, here are some tips that will help you extend the battery life on your Charge 3 and also explain what is its expected behavior.
