Fitbit Charge 3 won’t turn on

Hello.
my fitbit charge 3 has been off for a few months, and when I tried to charge it today it wasn’t turning on.

it’s plugged in normally, however the screen stays black. When i hold on to the sides to turn it on, all it does is vibrates, but it doesnt turn on. I tried plugging and unplugging it but still no response. It is not even synced to the Fitbit app anymore.
I don’t know what to do anymore, if anyone has answers to this your help will be appreciated.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @tamarah__.

I am sorry to hear your Charge 3 won't turn on. Thanks for trying to resolve this, I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend doing the following:

  1. Please follow the complete troubleshooting instructions in this help article: Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
  2. If the issue persists, please perform a long restart:
  • Connect the device to the charging cable.
  • While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  • The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration
  • The device turns off.
  • The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  • Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  • Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again.

If your tracker turns on, you can follow these steps to connect it to your Fitbit account: How do I set up a replacement device or add a second device to my account?

Keep me posted on the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
