After working out with my Fitbit in the pool, I realized the watch was out of power. I put it on the charger and taped to side button to make sure that it was charging. Instead, the Fitbit smile face came up on the top left corner (creepy) and when I held the side button it kept buzzing. Every one in a while, I hold down the side button and the smile comes back, with white pixels dotting the screen. Is this a sign of water damage? It is charging and still the screen won’t turn on except for the smile

There is also static when I hold down the side key along with the buzzing.

I have the same problem. After swimming my watch was out of power so I charged it. Afterwards when I touched the button it buzzed and the smile showed up. Nothing else happened. That was yesterday.
Today nothing happens, no smiles, no buzzing.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Kingsley., @Sjakkie. I'm sorry to hear about your Charge 4 display and thank you for mentioning the steps you have followed in order to solve this situation.
Do your trackers show condensation? How are pixel dots on your screen @Kingsley.?
I'll be waiting for your response.

Hi Andrea,
I recharged my Charge 4 again an this time the display turned on, it seemed to work.
However the watch kept on buzzing every few minutes. The buzzing has stopped, now it turns of every second.
The tracker does not show condensation.
