Fitbit Dashboard not showing distance goal met

Over the past several weeks the app is not recording that I've met my daily distance goal (5 miles) on my dashboard. It does record that I've met other goals (active minutes, steps, stairs) and the icons light up etc. Daily distance, however, always shows that I'm 2/3 of the way no matter how far over my goal. If I click the icon, the graph does show the correct distance. I've tried changing my goal to a lower number (5 miles to 2, then 3) and voila! I've met my goal, but 4 or back to 5 miles and it reverts to not complete. I realize this is a mostly silly problem but I am trying to become more active after a long hiatus and visual motivation is very important to me. Any help is appreciated!

Let me help you with your distance goal not showing as completed on your account. This is not a silly problem. You are doing your part, making the effort and you want to see it on the app so I can only encourage you keep doing this great effort for your well-being. Which phone are you using and which OS is it running? Hopefully this won't keep happening but I suggest you try logging out from the app, restart your phone and log back in. Also make sure the app is up to date.

I have this same issue on my Charge 3. My daily goal is 3.5 miles. Today I did 5.28 and the goal isn't showing as completed. Was this issue ever resolved?

Hi! 

No, unfortunately it wasn't resolved and I still have the same problem. I went back and forth with support and the last email I received was 8/20 saying they knew it was an issue for many and that they didn't know what was causing it but it might be an issue with the app. They said be patient and wait for an app update.  So much time has passed I'm not convinced they ever tried or care to fix it...
