Is anyone having issues with Fitbit Pay on the charge 4?
I used it until at least May 2023 and I am planning to get another one ditching the Sense 2; Sense 2 has issues with google pay and fitbit pay noticing the icon for it is not even listed on device, and support told me this:
'As of November 2022, all new Fitbit devices will use Google Pay on Fitbit'.

Hi, @wesend , I would not recommend buying a Charge 4 at this point, unless you can get one very cheaply, as it is now quite an old device in electronic terms. Fitbit is no longer selling it, so if you buy one it will have no warranty. Even if you buy one that is supposedly “new and in box” it will still have the original battery. A battery that has been left in a discharged state for a year or more is likely to have significantly deteriorated, if it is useable at all.
I have no inside information on this, but my guess is that Google, the now owners of Fitbit, will be eventually ditching Fitbit Pay altogether, and/or banks will stop supporting it, as Google is clearly phasing it out.

Now is official: R. I. P. Fitbit. Thanks Google!
Charge4 was faultless for 2 years and now is useless like the Sense 2 I sent back.
Recharged my (broken strap) Charge4 and tested where was working few months ago:
Asda: Card Not Supported. Lidl, Card Not Supported. A coffee distributor, worked after declining 5 times.
Also, the new software is made to make it FAIL in more ways:
Randomly ask to re enter the pin after unlocking FitBit Pay (from 0 times to 4)
It doesn't stay unlocked for more than 1 minute 90% of the times.
The flagship Sense2 prevented most users to use Google wallet for months, and the FitBit Pay icon even disappeared after latest firmware, despite both features are still on their item specs/website.
