Fitbit Shows Heart Rate is Going Down when it's Going Up!

My main form of cardio exercise is a spin bike. Whenever I am climbing hills, my fitbit charge 2 shows my heart rate dropping instead of climbing. This is BEYOND annoying. Any thoughts?

Welcome to the Forums @MamaDstayingfit.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your experience. I will be moving this thread to the Charge 2 board as I think it is better suited for it.

As for the situation itself, it could be happening because the Fitbit is not getting a good HR reading. My recommendations in this case would be to clean the HR sensor before doing cardio and also tightening the strap. You can clean the HR sensor with a damp piece of cloth and then drying it. That will make sure that there aren't any dust particles causing the sensor to work incorrectly.

Please keep me posted on how it goes or if you have any other questions.
