Why is the Fitbit app not keeping my statistics properly?

You must realize there's no way anyone here could explain you stats without more information.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Wrist band is keeping normal counts, but either phone app is not keeping a record of all daily stats, and it seem erratic in what it does record.
