Fitbit app is not providing Sleep Score of my Charge 3

Hi,

I am new to Fitbit and I’ve really enjoyed the Sleep Score function. However, as of yesterday the app is no longer providing a sleep score. The sleep insights are turned on and are displaying the different stages of sleep, but the analysis as well as the score have simply disappeared.

I have tried logging out and back in, as well as toggling the sleep insights tab. None of this has worked. Can anyone advise me on why this is happening and how to fix it?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SLEEP Score? I see no true answer in the community. I’ve had my Fitbit for a while and the sleep score has been gone for months.. I’ve tried the things suggested but it’s not there. So when will this be fixed ??

Best Answer

None of the suggested fixes have worked. My Inspire HR has given me sleep scores (and details on sleep stages) since I bought it 5 months ago, and then as of 8/1/20, I only get the sleep graph with no score or ability to see sleep stages. It is blank. The app is updated, and I've never used the going-to-sleep-now option. I just went to bed and it recorded my sleep. I'm so frustrated b/c this is the whole reason I bought this watch. Any other suggestion besides what has already been posted here?

Haven't gotten a sleep score since early June.  Any update to this problem?

Why is this marked solved?

I found that as long as I let the system work, without intentionally telling it I was sleeping, it logged my sleep. Try it. When I told my fitbit I was going to sleep, I never got the log. When I just went to sleep....it was there.

After an entire year with this non-answer, what has Fitbit done to resolve the problem?

Best Answer

Well, I have not received a sleep report for a week, and other weeks it has been spotty.  It is November 2020.  Thanks

No details or sleep score since October 21st.

Just happened today. Had a sleep scores consistently, except when under threshold, and today 6 hrs sleep and no score. Tried reinstalling ap and still no score. Can't find the supposed answer to the problem.

This happens to me frequently (Charge 4).

If I delete the bad sleep log and then add the sleep back manually, the sleep score and sleep stages always appear correctly on the manual one.

I just have to remember to take note of the sleep times before deleting the bad log, since it needs those times to add it back.

I have no idea why it doesn't record it correctly sometimes. It has nothing to do with how I'm wearing the Fitbit. But at least whenever it screws up, I can just delete it and add it back for the full info.

Deleting (or adding) and re-adding the sleep log usually works for me, though it's annoying I should even have to do that half the time. For the last 2 days, my Inspire 2 hasn't recorded sleep at all, and no score or stages show up if I add a sleep log. I'm wearing it at the same tightness - 5th to 6th hole- as always, same wrist, same bed, same schedule, similar sleep position.

ETA: rebooting the tracker itself fixed it. That's a new one for me.

Same happening here.

Same with me!  My Inspire 2 sleep score data showed up the first two days and never since.  I contacted Fitbit and they said they are working on it.  Periodically I’ll get an email thanking me for my patience and asking me to restart my device, which I’ve done many times already.  Very frustrating!

It is on and still doesn’t work.

I have consistent scores every time. Have learned that As long as I dont tell it that i am sleeping—I just sleep, it records it every time. It is when I tell it i am goin to sleep that i do Not get the results.

like Lydia said, not starting the sleep log at all has been working for me for weeks. Just go to sleep. The device has been automatically sensing and recording sleep.

I just started using my Fitbit Charge 3 again and have the same issue. No sleep score but I do get the graph. I really like the sleep score but looks like there isn’t an answer for over a year. I might look at Apple Watch.

Having same problem, have done everything Fitbit suggested, even wore on inside of wrist one night and still no sleep scores.
