My charge 3 is no longer showing the exercise categories that are saved in the app. Each time I try to sync I get the message ´sync failed’, although it updates other data such as the step count.

@Jullia Have you tried restarting your Charge 3 and your phone? Also try turning bluetooth off and then back on to see if that clears up the syncing issue.

Hi there @Jullia, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about the syncing difficulties, I'll be glad to help you.
While reading your posts I was wondering if the syncing issue started happening after updating to iOS 13+? If so, please follow the troubleshooting steps provided in the help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
If the steps don't work, let's try the following:
- Open Settings app on phone
- Scroll down, tap Fitbit -> Toggle Location to 'Always'
- Ensure toggles next to Bluetooth and Background App Refresh are turned ON
Thanks for your help @Heather-S. 😉

I'm having the same problem with my Alta HR and syncing with my Android phone. I've tried most of the standard techniques to get it to sync. As @Jullia I'm getting some syncing happening (steps sync some times), but then get "Sync Failed" part way through and then nothing else syncs. I'm seeing lots of posts online about this being related to recent Android 11 updates. This happened about a week or so after my phone updated to Android 11, so its possible, but I'm not certain it is related.
