This came up yesterday, and the app was just stuck there until my iphone ran out of charge ( I just left it for hours and ignored it). Today, tried again, and its still trying. I've tried turning my phone off and on again (repeatedly - waiting longer and longer). I don't want to delete and reinstall the app if I don't have to, but is that my only option? Will I loose my data or not (because its saved externally?) Help appreciated ... Thank you!

@Claire67, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!
Let me help you with your Fitbit app not working on your iPhone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. I don't usually suggest you uninstall and reinstall the app but this seems like the only option in this case. The information already synced with your account won't be lost as it is stored on the Fitbit servers. Please try this and see how it responds.
Let me know how it goes.
