Hi
My Charge 3 seems to be doing something peculiar with my heart rate tracking.
The Charge 3 shows my current heart rate
The Mobil application shows my current heart rate
But I am not getting any history of my heart rate. I was getting history upto 22 March 2019 but nothing is shown after that time.
As a result of this (I assume the two are connected) my sleep has only been showing basic information but no detail of my sleep patterns as of 22 March 2019
It was all working beautifully before the 22 March but not afterwards. I have tried restarting my fitbit but I am not confident it is working

Welcome on board @bluejag, it's nice to see you around! Thanks for letting us know that the heart rate history is not showing up in the app.
In this case I'd like to recommend that you try to log out of the app and then force close it. After doing that, open the app up again and log in. That should force it connect to the servers again and display all information correctly.
As you know, sleep stages are based on heart rate data, so always make sure that you're getting a solid heart rate reading , since sleep stages requires consistent HR. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight. Also, double check that your watch is charged up.
Additionally, I'd recommend checking the following that could be preventing you from receiving sleep stages:
For more information about why you see your sleep pattern, tap or click the sleep record that shows your sleep pattern.
Let me know if there are any further questions.

I have the exact same problem. I also have connection to the server so that is not the problem it seems.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Wilin! Thanks for letting us know you have connection to the server. Nice way to start!
I'd recommend trying the following steps:
Give this a go and let us know the outcome.

Hi managed to resolve it by connecting my watch to the charger and then rebooting the fitbit a couple of times the following day all started working again. Problem solved

Same problem here, and I've reset the device, logged out/force stopped the app.
Still no history. Just stopped as of Jun 15. Device and app both showing current heart rate.

Same problem here!
And now I've done everything suggested in this article. My charge 3 firmware was updated today as well as the Android app. So nothing more to do.
I have a Google Pixel 3 phone, all updates on the Android SW as well.
Any suggestion? It is after all a basic functionality, if not working is not ok.

Pleasant surprise yesterday evening, my Charge 3 started to record the heart pulse without any further action from me.
A bit strange behavior but I guess what it counts is that it works!

I have this problem for last 2 days. Last night i did the app update check, force closed the app, rebooted the cell, reconnected on charge 3
Yet today the same thing happened.
What is the actual issue here? Can we get a clear answer, instead of fishing for these ones please?

Is FB Team listening?
This seems to be a BIG issue on C3, get no one in FB responds.
Truly bad

Same problem here, over and over again. Since I bought the C3 end of January I have reset my phone at least 15 times, reinstalled the app 3 times, soft reset the C3 15 times as well and did 5 hard resets. Sometimes it works some time and then it stops again. Apart from that it takes ages to synchronize and the stepcounter indicates way too many steps. A very disappointing gadget.
Please give me a realistic answer. Is this solvable? If not can I return the device and get my money back?
Thank you for an honest answer.

Same thing is happening to me where it stopped showing heart rate history 5 days ago, I did all the steps several times. This has happened in the past several times and then it manages to get working again. Looks like an on going issue that is not getting resolved!

Meanwhile I discovered that after recording a run, the heartrate and heartrate history is not shown (while everything else about the run is shown) until you perform a soft reset on the fitbit. After the soft reset (safe and easy to do, there is no loss of data) the device operates normally again. Very strange and not like it should be, clearly a bug in the software, let’s hope that the manufacturers get this solved in a next firmware release.
Otherwise my complaints with respect to synchronization are still valid, it is a nightmare. Synchronization takes between 5 and 15 minutes, all other running apps on the phone have to be closed. But even then often, but not always resetting of the fitbit device along with restarting my telephone (Samsung S7) is required. Then, in the end, it finally syncs. I have other devices that connect and sync within seconds, fitbit should be able to do so too!

Hello having same issues, no heart rate history, can’t see heart rate change during workouts and throughout the day etc, was working fine, have reset, logged in and out, checked all settings and it won’t work
