Hi there...i just got a charge 3 today and the app is showing no resting heart rate whatsoever...i have gone through all the steps as seen on here but still no joy...please help or it's going back...

Hi @Bones99 Welcome to the Community. It will take a little time for your Charge 3 to collect some HR data which then needs to be synced with Fitbit server so the algorithm can calculate your RHR. Just continue to wear it and let it sync with your app and it will eventually pick up. This article explains a bit more about HR and how your Fitbit tracks it.

Hi Tony...many thanks for getting back to me...makes sense really..was just worried because iv seen lots of reviews about the charge 3 being abit dodgey and I took the plunge today to get one...

Your welcome, if you can wear it when you go to sleep too as will improve the accuracy of the RHR calculation. Just to add I don't personally experience any issues with my Charge 3 SE.

I’m on my 2nd Charge 3 SE. The  1st  one never showed my HeartRate on the app the entire 17 months I had it.  I got a new one after getting my husband one for Christmas & his worked great!  My new one has worked great for 5 months then it suddenly won’t show my heart rate on the dashboard. I’m VERY frustrated. It seemed to STOP when “all day sync” went away. All day sync  NEVER worked on my first one! I was thrilled to see “all day sync” ON when I setup my new one as it assured me it was connected to Bluetooth. My 1st Charge 3 wouldn’t stay connected to Bluetooth. Now, I never know

so I manually sync it several times daily.
That shouldn’t be necessary. 
Wearing your new Charge 3 awhile does NOT fix the glitch of not showing heart rate on the app. Sorry! It should show your current heart rate the minute you put it on your wrist. Resting SHOULD  show after the first night. There are still bugs in the Charge 3 whether it’s SE or not. I use the IOS app. And the online fitbit.com dashboard. Neither one show my heart rate!  Disappointed!!!
