Hiyaaaa.
I tried to download the app this morning.
However it's coming up with the message, 'Fitbit can't be downloaded' and then error code 190.
I've tried downloading other apps and that works okay, I've got a good internet connection and enough storage room so not sure what to do now.... I've also restarted it a couple of times and cleared the cache.
Any help much appreciated!
Sophie

@neeneestad Welcome to the Community.
Let me help you with this. This is odd but I would like to ask you to try the suggestions in my previous post (restart your phone and make sure you have enough internal space, this doesn't count if you have space on a SD card, the space needs to be available on the phone itself and applies to Android devices of course).
@Sophie_C_90 I want to clarify that you don't need to buy a new Fitbit device to install the Fitbit app, it seems that you had a different issue and misunderstood the subject of this thread. I do understand if you couldn't setup your old device and had to replace it but this is apart from installing the app on a phone. You can do this even if you don't own a Fitbit device.
@cjblue3 happy to hear that your new phone has enough memory to install the Fitbit app and glad to hear that this was the issue. As similarly stated, you don't need to buy a new phone, just make sure that you have enough space on it to install apps. If you purchased a new phone because you felt it was time to update so you could use this app and others then it is great!
Hope this helps.

@cjblue3 thank you so much for the clarification and happy to hear that you do use your phones for a long time! Hopefully your new phone is working great and helping you enjoy the benefits of the Fitbit app and tracker.
Happy stepping and stay safe.

I'm having this same issue. App was working fine but wouldn't let me launch my premium subscription. I uninstalled it and now I can't reinstall it. I tried clearing 10gb memory on my phone, logging out of my Google play account, clearing app data, restarting... Nothing is working. Super frustrated!!

Im having the issue and it looks like it isn't resolved. I have my information for the phone, storage, and screenshot of the error but I can't seem to post the attachments with this. If an administrator would email me I can send the attachments.

I’ve tried all that and it won’t download from the app store. It allows me to open it but not download it. I have an iPhone 11

Mine did the same thing. I had the Fitbit app on my phone for years and suddenly it said "download" the app that was already there so I did and the same message keeps coming up - download the app (which is aleady there). I deleted data from my phone to increase storage space and same it still keeps happening. What should I do?

The problem is the app is completely gone from my phone. When I tried to download a new app it says I cannot do that. I have a charge 3, an android phone, 7.0. It has worked for over 3 years.
