Fitbit change 2 not pair with my android smartphone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Morning,

I go to fitbit app from my smartphone > add new device > charge2

It starts to search my charge2.

After 15 seconds, my phone says that it found the charge2.

My fitbit shows a 4 digit code to introduce it in the app.

I put the 4 digits code and click ok

After 30 seconds, my phone says it could't pair and says "try again"

I tried reboot charge2 several times (by pressing the button 4s while it is charging)

Don't know what to do. Please, can anybody help? Any other way that I could try?

Thanks in advance

Have you checked that your android works with fitbit at www.fitbit.com/devices ?

It can sometimes help to try the pair with as few bluetooth devices around as possible.

Fitbit has a troubleshooting guide that may help at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1872/

Thanks a lot for your fast reply.

I think I tried everything... Reboot my phone, charge2, re-install the fitbit App...

I also went to the garage where there is no other blutooth devices around, but still the same issue.

Any other idea?

This charge2 has being working perfectly with my adroin up to a few weeks ago. Simply... it stopped syncronize.

It does sound like you have tried all the normal troubleshooting.

One thing that has worked for me before now is to "forget" any link to the fitbit in the phone's bluetooth settings.

Other than that I'm out of ideas. If you don't get any other suggestions then it's probably best to contact customer support. They may be able to tell what's going on from the server side and if they can't fix it then they can check your warranty status and advise on your options: contact.fitbit.com

Thank you so much Steve.

I already contacted with the customer support, but they say that they cannot provide a solution. They recomend me to use other phone, because mine is "not fully tested and can have bluetooth issues".

But that is really funny because my phone has been working perfectly for more than 5 months with my charge2, so I have the impresion that they are giving me the runaround. Not happy with that...

Thank you again for your help 🙂
