Fitbit charge 2 turned off and wont reset or turn back on

So the last couple of days my fitbit charge 2 would just turn off for no reason and I wouldn't notice until i went to look at the time and id have to tap it a few times or push the button a few times. The screen would go back on like it was reset but the time would be all screwy and the battery would be completely drained. Well tonight after charging it,  it wouldn't go back on.  I tried to reset it and everything and still no luck.  The screen isnt cracked and there is no apparent damages. Please help! This is my second fitbit charge two. The first one i cracked within 3 months of purchasing  because i was moving heavy furniture and didnt know until i was in water. So that one was ruined. Id really like to keep this one.

@Caressahanson12 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's great to have you here!

I will gladly assist you with your Charge 2 that isn't turning on and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device again and see how it behaves.

Let me know how it goes.

I had the same thing happen. Everything was fine and then two days ago every time I would sync, my app would give a notice on my phone saying to open the app and sync the data. Then the device stopped tracking all my steps. Then the time was off. Tried all the suggestions I found on Fitbit forums, and now it won't work at all. Nothing. Just blank.
